Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Support Engineer with strong experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Data Modelling, and Data Warehousing. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will be responsible for discovering, analysing, and documenting enterprise data assets, reporting requirements, and business processes to support reporting and analytics initiatives across the organisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and documenting data sources, structures, relationships, and reporting solutions while gathering business requirements for new data initiatives. You will design and maintain data models, develop documentation for data marts, ETL processes, reports, and dashboards, and contribute to data warehousing and data transformation activities. Additionally, you will identify data quality issues, recommend remediation strategies, scope new reporting opportunities, and support incident resolution to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of the organisation's data and reporting environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Business Analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven expertise in Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, and SQL.
  • Experience documenting data sources, data lineage, business requirements, and reporting solutions.
  • Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues and recommend improvements.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Informatica, SSIS, Oracle, ServiceNow, and ITSM is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Deliver business and technical documentation, data models, reporting specifications, and data quality assessments.
