Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Boomi Integration Lead to drive the technical design, development, governance, and operational uplift of our enterprise integration platform.
In this high-impact technical leadership role, you will take ownership of enterprise integration outcomes end-to-end. You will lead the design and delivery of complex Boomi processes, APIs, and workflows while managing platform runtime infrastructure, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring a team of integration developers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, build, testing, deployment, and operational support of enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi Integration Platform.
Develop and maintain complex Boomi processes, custom connectors, data mappings, APIs, and reusable workflows.
Conduct rigorous technical design and code reviews to enforce Boomi best practices, security standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
Translate business and functional specifications into scalable, secure, and supportable integration patterns.
Oversee Boomi Runtimes, Runtime Clusters, Runtime Clouds, and Boomi-hosted Managed Cloud Services (MCS).
Support the lifecycle management and deployment of Boomi runtime infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)-hosted Runtime Clusters where applicable.
Maintain security standards across runtimes, AKS environments, certificates, APIs, credentials, and connectivity.
Monitor platform utilization, performance, and capacity to proactively recommend scaling and optimization improvements.
Define, promote, and enforce Boomi development standards, naming conventions, reusable component frameworks, and governance policies.
Oversee integration releases, change management, and production deployments following standard SDLC practices.
Ensure technical specifications, interface documentation, configuration details, and operational runbooks are comprehensively maintained.
Provide technical direction, code reviews, and mentoring to Boomi developers and integration squad members.
Resolve complex development and production support issues while driving capability uplift across the team.
Stay aligned with Boomi platform releases, new features, and industry integration trends to continuously modernize the integration landscape.
Qualifications
Boomi Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience designing and building enterprise integrations using the Boomi Platform (Integration, API Management, Runtime Architecture).
Runtime & Cloud Infrastructure: Strong practical knowledge of Boomi Runtimes, MCS, and containerized deployment environments (e.g., AKS).
API & Security Fundamentals: Solid experience in API security, OAuth/OIDC, SSL certificates, environment extensions, and secure credential management.
Technical Leadership: Proven track record leading integration projects, mentoring developers, enforcing governance, and managing production deployments.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively between enterprise architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and vendor partners.
