The Data Analyst will support large-scale enterprise data transformation and migration initiatives, ensuring accurate, high‑quality data movement from legacy systems into modern data platforms. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced SQL capability, and hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and big data technologies.

The Data Analyst will support large‑scale transformation initiatives by analysing source and target data, designing and validating ETL pipelines, and ensuring accurate, high‑quality data movement into modern data platforms. The role involves writing complex SQL to extract, transform, and validate large datasets, performing data reconciliations at each migration checkpoint, and investigating discrepancies to deliver clear root‑cause analysis of data quality issues. Working closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, the analyst will use ETL tools, Databricks, and technologies such as Python and Spark to profile data, validate transformations, and ensure consistency, integrity, and trust in migrated and transformed data.

• Strong experience as a Data Analyst supporting data migration or transformation projects
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, subqueries, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with ETL / data preparation tools
• Practical experience working with Databricks, Spark, or PySpark
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, validation, and automation
• Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud or distributed data environments
• Strong understanding of data reconciliation, profiling, and data quality frameworks
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, GCP)
