Job Description

As an Agile Data Technical Delivery Lead, your role will be to manage multiple agile squads and oversee the production and release process for large scale data programs, including, orchestrating the delivery of work and lining up the inter and intra-domain dependencies required to enable a technology solution end-to-end. Additionally, you will coordinate delivery across multiple squads within different platform layers, providing technical guidance and expertise to clients on data management and cloud delivery.

 

To ensure successful project delivery, you will develop and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with other teams in a complex multi-vendor environment. Your thought leadership in the field of data management and cloud delivery will be highly valued, as you provide technical guidance and expertise to clients as a trusted advisor. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of data literacy.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Tech Lead, Delivery Lead, Agile Project Manager, Program Manager or Release Train Engineer for a large Data warehouse or Data Lake-related project.
  • Extensive expertise in data platforms and analytic environments
  • Experience working with teams that are geographically distributed (onshore/ offshore)
  • Sound technical understanding of data management and cloud delivery
  • Practical experience with CI / CD in a data analytics context
  • Excellent consulting skills with the ability to communicate and build rapport at all levels of a client organisation
  • Experience in establishing and managing production release processes
  • Hands on experience in AWS Data Platforms, Databricks and ETL pipelines is highly desirable
  • Exposure to scaled agile frameworks/environments is also highly desirable
  • The ability to obtain a Databricks certification within 3 months of starting the role
  • Financial Services industry experience is also highly desirable
