NCS Australia is seeking a dynamic and influential Practice Director to lead our Digital Applications team. This is more than a leadership role; it's an opportunity to shape the future of our business, champion innovation, and establish yourself as a prominent thought leader in the Australian technology landscape. As the central pillar of our Digital Applications practice, you will be the driving force behind our evolution.

Your mission is to act as a change catalyst, driving the strategic transformation of our practice by scaling our capabilities across web and mobile software engineering, UX design and business analytics and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. You will champion thought leadership, acting as the face of our practice by developing compelling industry insights, participating in key events, and building our brand reputation as a leader in cutting-edge digital solutions. With your finger on the pulse of emerging technology trends, you will architect the future of our offerings, collaborating across the business to develop innovative solutions that solve our clients' most complex challenges. This requires you to lead with impact, mentoring a world-class team while driving strategic growth through deep, trusted client relationships and leading critical pre-sales activities.

• Proven experience leading and scaling a successful Applications Engineering, UX and BA practice, specifically from within a Technology Consultancy, Systems Integrator, or Professional Services company.

• A demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of consultants and engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Exceptional client relationship management skills with a track record of building strategic C-level partnerships and ensuring an outstanding client experience.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience shaping go-to-market strategies, leading pre-sales engagements, and architecting client solutions that drive significant revenue growth.

• A recognised thought leader, comfortable representing the business at industry events and developing compelling insights that enhance brand reputation and market position.

• A deep and strategic understanding of modern software engineering principles, complemented by broad knowledge across related domains such as Cloud, DevOps, UX, Data, and Security.

• A natural change catalyst with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of driving transformation and resolving complex technical and business challenges.
