Job Description

NCS is seeking an experienced and client-focused Test Analyst to join our dedicated team, playing a pivotal role in the quality assurance of cutting-edge SAP SuccessFactors solutions for our diverse clientele. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Employee Central, Onboarding, and particularly Payroll modules, ensuring the seamless delivery of HR technology that empowers businesses. You will be instrumental in understanding client needs, translating business requirements into robust testing scenarios, and championing best practices in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role requires a keen understanding of HR processes, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

 

Your core responsibilities will involve developing and executing comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases across all testing phases, with a significant emphasis on SAP Payroll, including thorough validation of payroll periods, calculations, and compliance. You will meticulously identify and document defects, work closely with technical teams for resolution, and provide clear, concise reporting to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in testing SAP SuccessFactors modules, especially Payroll, demonstrate excellent common sense regarding HR knowledge, understand the critical nature of confidential data, and have a talent for translating complex business needs into effective testing strategies within a client-facing context.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst, specifically with SAP SuccessFactors, including hands-on experience with Employee Central, Onboarding, and Payroll modules.
  • Strong, demonstrable experience in testing SAP Payroll processes, including understanding of payroll cycles, calculations, and reporting.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A solid understanding of HR business processes and the importance of data confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player.
  • ISTQB certification or similar testing qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of Australian payroll legislation and processes is highly desirable.
