Job Description

This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. 

 

NCS Australia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Microsoft Alliance Manager to join our team and help us strengthen our collaboration with Microsoft.

As the Microsoft Alliance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our strategic partnership with Microsoft. Our Microsoft Practice is a strategic pillar in NCS’s ambitious growth plans. The Microsoft Alliance Manager will play a key role in operationalising our plans to exponentially grow our Microsoft business and ensure Microsoft recognises our ongoing sales activities. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy that drives business growth and achieves our strategic objectives. This involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at Microsoft and within NCS Australia. You will identify and pursue joint business opportunities, including co-selling and co-marketing initiatives, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and deliver joint solutions that meet customer needs. Additionally, you will monitor and report on the performance of the alliance, tracking key metrics and outcomes to ensure the partnership's success. Staying up-to-date with Microsoft's product offerings, programs, and initiatives will be crucial to leveraging them effectively in our partnership.

Reporting to the Microsoft Business Lead, you will possess a detailed understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, sales priorities, funding programs, and go-to-market strategies. Your strong knowledge of Microsoft's product offerings and partner programs will enable you to navigate and effectively leverage the partnership.  If you are ready to take your career to the next level and make a significant impact at NCS Australia, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role managing strategic alliances with Microsoft.
  • Detailed understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, sales priorities, funding programs, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft's product offerings and partner programs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Partner Network program.
  • Administration of Partner Central.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft funding programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft key offerings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive alliance strategies.
  • Ability to identify and pursue joint business opportunities, including co-selling and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and deliver joint solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on the performance of the alliance.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and leverage them effectively.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
