Job Description

Imagine being at the forefront of telco innovation, where your strategic vision and technical expertise drive real-world impact. At NCS Australia, we're partnering with major Telco providers to redefine the industry, and we're looking for a dynamic Telco+ Solution Lead to join our team.

You'll be instrumental in designing cutting-edge solutions, particularly in the realm of BSS/OSS modernisation and the exciting frontier of Agentic AI. We're looking for someone who doesn't just understand technology but who can also translate it into tangible business value for our clients.

Your Impact:

  • Strategic Vision: Craft and implement holistic IT and AI strategies, leveraging 5G, cloud-native architectures, and Agentic AI to revolutionize telco operations.
  • Architectural Leadership: Own end-to-end solution architecture, guiding teams to build scalable and reliable systems on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Client Transformation: Lead transformative projects, modernizing BSS/OSS systems and integrating innovative AI solutions to enhance client experiences.
  • Thought Leadership: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, particularly Agentic AI, and position yourself as a key influencer in the telco space.
  • Pre-Sales Excellence: Collaborate with sales teams, crafting compelling proposals and building strong client relationships to secure new opportunities.
  • Team Empowerment: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Consulting & Transformation Leadership: Extensive experience in technology consulting or enterprise IT, with a track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in the telco domain. Demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise-grade IT and AI solutions, employing rigorous transformation excellence methodologies.

  • Hands-On Solution Design & Leadership: Proven experience guiding key architectural decisions and influencing technical strategies across multiple systems and teams.  Familiarity with microservices, API-driven design, container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud-native development pipelines.

  • Telco & Cloud-Native Expertise: In-depth understanding of telco operating models, network infrastructures (5G, NFV, SDN) and OSS/BSS systems.  Experience in designing and delivering BSS, CRM, and Billing transformations to cloud-native tech stacks.  Familiarity with advanced AI solutions, including multi-agent systems, predictive analytics and real-time machine learning frameworks.

  • Program Management & Delivery: Adept at managing complex programs with budgets exceeding $5M, coordinating cross-functional teams and applying both agile and traditional delivery methods.  Skilled at risk management, scope control and ensuring alignment to transformation goals.

  • Pre-Sales & Business Development: Credibility in identifying revenue opportunities, scoping transformation initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders to secure new engagements.  Expertise with constructing robust business cases and ROI models to justify significant technology investments.

  • Communication & People Skills: Exceptional communication abilities for both technical and executive audiences, ensuring clarity, buy-in and momentum.  High emotional intelligence for managing stakeholder expectations, resolving conflicts
