Job Description

This is a 3 to 6 month contract position. 

NCS Australia is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Architect to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in designing and building innovative solutions for our clients. You'll leverage your expertise across Microsoft technologies with a strong focus on Azure and Power Platform to craft solutions that are scalable, secure, and future-proof.

You will lead the charge in designing and developing complex enterprise applications, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of software architecture principles to create solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Additionally, your focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance will result in systems that can handle the demands of modern businesses. 

You will collaborate effectively with a talented team, working closely with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Your commitment to continuous learning will keep you up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the application architecture landscape.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in architecting Power Platform Solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of building Canvas Apps, Model-Driven and Power Automate flows.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, including data modelling, relationships, and security.
  • Good knowledge in Power Platform analytics and logging.
  • Proficient in designing custom components using PCF (PowerApps Component Framework).
  • Skilled in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, custom connectors, and integration with external systems.
  • Knowledge of implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for Power Platform solutions.
  • Skilled in managing source control, versioning, and automated deployments of Power Platform components.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform licensing models, including capacity, add-ons, and environments.
  • Ability to advise on licensing strategies to optimize costs and align with business needs.
  • Knowledge of governance best practices, including establishing security roles, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environment strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of Power Platform limitations, including performance, scalability, and storage considerations.
  • Ability to identify and implement workarounds and alternatives for Power Platform constraints.
  • Experience in conducting performance tuning and optimizing Power Platform solutions.

Having one or more of the following Microsoft Certifications is a plus:

  • Power Platform Solution Architect (PL-600)  
  • Azure Developer associate (AZ-204)
  • Designing and implementing Azure DevOps solutions (AZ-400)
