Job Description

As a Technical Business Analyst at NCS Australia, you'll be a key player in bridging the gap between business and tech. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering innovative software solutions that drive business value.

 

You'll gather requirements through workshops, interviews, and surveys, then analyse them to identify opportunities for technology solutions. You'll create clear and concise technical documentation, designing robust and scalable systems. You'll work closely with development teams, ensuring that the technical specifications are understood and implemented correctly. Finally, you'll participate in testing activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role working with government or large enterprise clients 
  • Excellent consulting skills 
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) 
  • Experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and modelling tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., BABOK, IIBA, CBAP, CCBA) is preferred.
