Job Description
The Service Delivery Manager of Lifecycle Management, End User Computing is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of EUC lifecycle services, ensuring end-user devices, client platforms, assets, refresh activities, incidents, service requests, and operational changes are managed effectively across the service lifecycle.
The role acts as a key coordination point between client stakeholders, internal support teams, partners, and engineering teams to ensure service quality, SLA compliance, operational stability, and continuous improvement across the EUC environment.
Responsibilities
- IT Asset Lifecycle Management
- Track and maintain accurate records of IT assets throughout their lifecycle (discovery, registration, deployment, tracking, maintenance, refresh, decommissioning, and disposal)
- Support the maintenance of a centralised asset inventory repository as the single source of truth
- Conduct asset data collection, validation, reconciliation, and cleanup activities to improve inventory accuracy
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicates, and missing records in asset databases
- Support asset verification activities and physical inventory audits
- Coordinate with stakeholders on asset movements, deployments, and returns
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data analysis on asset utilisation, lifecycle trends, and inventory accuracy
- Generate regular reports and dashboards on asset metrics, including inventory status, reconciliation progress, and compliance indicators
- Support management reporting with insights on asset performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Use reporting tools to extract, analyse, and present asset data
- Track and report on asset-related KPIs and SLAs
- Vendor and Asset Management
- Lead and coordinate EUC operational support activities across incident, service request, asset, change, and lifecycle management
- Coordinate with EUCD vendors and logistics providers for procurement and delivery.
- Track deployment inventory and asset tagging activities.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
- EUC Lifecycle Management
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle activities for end-user devices and client platforms, including deployment, refresh, replacement, upgrade, maintenance, and retirement.
- Coordinate technology refresh and short-term maintenance activities under the guidance of senior service or programme leadership.
- Ensure device and asset records are accurate, updated, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Coordinate with partners on hardware replacement, warranty support, and issue resolution.
- Support software distribution, patch management, and client platform upgrade activities.
- Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Act as the primary coordination point for EUC lifecycle service delivery.
- Work closely with client teams, internal support groups, engineering teams, and partners to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate task assignments, follow up on deliverables, and ensure service outputs meet quality standards.
- Assist senior managers in guiding junior engineers on operational procedures, standards, and service expectations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve EUC support processes, lifecycle workflows, and service quality.
- Recommend and implement action plans where service gaps or operational risks are identified.
- Promote process discipline, service excellence, and consistent operational practices across teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of IT project management experience
- Relevant experience in End User Computing, Digital Workplace, Desktop Support, Service Desk, IT Operations, or Service Delivery.
- Experience managing or coordinating EUC lifecycle activities such as device deployment, hardware replacement, asset updates, technology refresh, patching, or platform upgrades.
- Good understanding of IT service management processes, including incident management, request fulfilment, SLA tracking, escalation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Active Directory account administration, client platforms, and end-user devices such as desktops, notebooks, tablets, and smartphones.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN would be useful.
- Experience with ITIL practices or ITIL Foundation certification would be an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder coordination, communication, reporting, and follow-up skills.
- Independent, structured, resourceful, and service-oriented, with the ability to guide team members and drive operational outcomes.
