This is a customer facing role, working on pre-sales engagement and alignment of services to the delivery team. You will own the AWS/Azure Cloud Infrastructure technical customer engagements including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management.

What will you do?

• Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking, etc)
• Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
• Assess the Customers' knowledge of AWS/Azure platform and overall cloud readiness during presales engagement
• Apply AWS/Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Design Patterns and Well-Architected Framework to solution design during pre-sales stage
• Provide sizing for the solution architecture design and work with NCS partners where required
• SME for Cloud Infrastructure support
• Lead a team of cloud engineers to support the customers.
• Develop and deploy appropriate AWS/AZURE operational best practices
• Estimating AWS/AZURE costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
• Proactively keep up to date on AWS/AZURE services and developments
• Support data/service migration projects
• Manage Cloud infrastructure changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
• Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
• Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
• Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the Infrastructure; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
• Ensure service level meets the requirement.  Propose and implement action plan when required.
• Support service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
• Provide systems related technical advice to customers or project teams for manageable issues.
• Adhere to security standards or best practices to avoid security breaches and reduce system vulnerability. Provide input to security audits (as required) and implement the necessary corrective/preventive actions.
• To support hybrid and multi public cloud environments
• Be an AWS/Azure Platform evangelist with customers, as well as internal communities and be a mentor to guide new members for training and certifications

• Professional Experience - 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation
• Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies
• Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
• Technical
• Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management required
• Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following:
• Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS) Expert Knowledge in Containers and IaC would be advantageous
• Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of other cloud platforms would be advantageous
