Job Description

As a PMO Analyst, you will provide the operational backbone of the program by enabling strong governance, structured reporting, and smooth coordination across all workstreams. You will support the Program Manager in maintaining program trackers, preparing Steering Committee (SteerCo) materials, managing RAID and change logs, and consolidating updates across multiple value pools. Through disciplined documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination, you will help ensure transparency, alignment, and consistent program execution.

What will you do?

Program Governance and Reporting

  • Maintain and update the central program tracker across all seven value pools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability of inputs
  • Consolidate weekly or fortnightly updates into a unified program-wide progress dashboard
  • Standardise reporting formats in line with program governance requirements
  • Generate executive-ready reports covering progress, blockers, KPIs, and benefits realisation

Steering Committee and Stakeholder Support

  • Prepare SteerCo materials, including status updates, risks, issues, and decision papers
  • Track SteerCo follow-up actions and ensure timely closure
  • Support the Program Manager in monitoring milestones, dependencies, cross-pool impacts, and resource needs
  • Engage with stakeholders across value pools to consolidate updates and ensure alignment

Risk, Change and Action Management

  • Manage program-level RAID logs, change logs, and action trackers
  • Monitor and highlight key risks, dependencies, issues, and impacts across the program

Documentation and Coordination

  • Maintain central SharePoint or Confluence spaces for document control and artefact management
  • Provide coordination and logistical support for workshops, retrospectives, planning forums, and other program-level ceremonies

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proficiency in project and program tracking tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, or MS Project
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for dashboards, reporting, and executive presentations
  • Good understanding of program governance processes, including RAID management, change control, and reporting cycles
  • Familiarity with Agile at Scale methodologies such as SAFe, as well as traditional PMO structures
  • Strong attention to detail in document control, reporting accuracy, and version management
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and value pools
  • Experience supporting large, multi-track transformation programs
  • Ability to synthesise diverse inputs into concise, executive-ready content
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders during SteerCo preparation
  • Analytical mindset to understand dependencies, risks, and program performance indicators
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms

Required / Mandatory Certifications

  • Project Management certification such as:
    • PMI CAPMPMP, or
    • PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner

Beneficial Certifications

  • Agile certifications such as SAFe, Scrum Master, or AgilePM
  • Tool-based certifications such as JIRA Administration or Smartsheet Certification
