Job Description
Administrative, Technical, and Operational Responsibilities
1. Internal Reporting
- Prepare daily financial performance reports for the bank.
- Prepare the daily foreign currency position report.
- Prepare daily branch performance reports, including loan balances, deposits, commissions, and monitoring accounts with abnormal balances.
- Prepare cash limit reports and monitor deviations from approved limits.
- Prepare daily commissions and interest reports.
- Prepare and monitor the ratio of foreign debit balances on a daily basis.
- Prepare documentary overdraft reports related to letters of credit and letters of guarantee.
- Prepare and monitor the ratio of cash credit to deposits.
- Prepare and monitor the ratio of credit facilities to net capital and reserves.
- Prepare the daily CEO Dashboard report.
- Prepare the monthly Dashboard report.
- Prepare auction participation results reports.
- Prepare reports and analyses requested by senior management.
- Prepare shareholder reports.
- Prepare COF & ROF reports.
- Prepare and maintain penalty/fine reports.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data used in internal reports before submission to the direct manager.
- Maintain and organize internal reports and supporting documents for easy retrieval and reference.
2. External and Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports required by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI).
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and balance sheet reports in accordance with CBI templates and requirements.
- Prepare financial data and cash balance reports.
- Prepare foreign currency cash position reports.
- Prepare Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) reports.
- Prepare liquidity reports based on maturity ladder analysis.
- Prepare data request reports, including liquidity and commission-related reports.
- Prepare legal reserve coverage reports.
- Prepare weekly cash inventory reports.
- Prepare reports related to Kurdistan Region operations and Mosul Branch data.
- Prepare trial balance reports for Southern branches.
- Prepare quarterly financial reporting packages with all required supporting schedules.
- Prepare banking portfolio reporting requirements.
- Reconcile and validate all reports received from other departments against quarterly financial statements.
- Upload quarterly data and weekly reports to the BSRS system.
- Follow up on regulatory reporting observations and outstanding requirements and report them to the direct manager.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of all regulatory reports in accordance with applicable regulations and deadlines.
3. Coordination and Support
- Review data received from various departments and ensure its completeness and accuracy before use in reports.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare additional reports, analyses, and data as requested by the direct manager.
- Maintain the confidentiality of financial data, reports, and information related to the bank's performance.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
1-3 Years of relevant experience in banking or financial reporting
