Job Description
Administrative, Technical, and Operational Duties:
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to the direct manager on workflow progress, acquired clients, visits conducted, financing opportunities, and transactions under processing.
- Maintain and update records and databases related to credit transactions, client visits, customers, and pending requests.
- Follow up on transactions with internal departments to ensure timely completion and resolution of pending requirements and observations.
- Monitor assigned customer accounts in terms of activity level, compliance, relationship quality, and customer needs.
- Document the outcomes of field visits, observations, and recommendations related to customers.
- Perform any other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager or team leader.
- Meet with existing and prospective clients to present the bank’s services and direct and indirect credit facilities.
- Communicate with companies and small enterprises to introduce the bank’s products and competitive advantages, supporting sales growth and customer acquisition.
- Conduct field visits to prospective companies and institutions to present suitable banking services and credit facilities.
- Conduct field visits to existing companies to verify business continuity, the nature of operations, and the actual purpose of the requested facilities.
- Analyze customers’ financial and economic data to support recommendations regarding the granting of credit facilities.
- Prepare credit studies for customers, including analysis of financial statements, supporting documents, bank statements, receivables reports, cash flows, repayment sources, and proposed collateral.
- Study and analyze customer requests and propose appropriate financing solutions that meet their needs in terms of facility type, amount, repayment period, installments, collateral, and conditions.
- Negotiate credit facility terms and conditions with customers within the approved authority limits and guidelines, and follow up on the preparation of contracts and required documentation after approval.
- Conduct annual customer reviews within the assigned portfolio according to approved standards, and update customers’ financial and credit information.
- Execute activities related to selling SME financing facilities and acquiring new customers in line with established sales plans.
- Prepare applications and documentation for proposed credit facilities for acquired customers and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain the required approvals.
- Ensure compliance with financial, credit, and legal policies and procedures, as well as the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq and all related regulations.
- Monitor indicators of credit deterioration or deviations within assigned accounts and escalate cases requiring attention or corrective action.
- Follow up on customer needs, respond to inquiries, and provide suitable solutions in coordination with relevant departments to maintain customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Bahelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking Sciences, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification in the fields of Management and Economics.
- 1–3 years of experience, at a minimum, in a similar functional role.
