Job Description

Administrative, Technical, and Operational Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to the direct manager regarding workflow progress, acquired customers, field visits, financing opportunities, and transactions under process.
  • Maintain and update records and data related to credit transactions, customer visits, clients, and pending requests.
  • Follow up with internal departments to ensure timely completion of transactions and the resolution of outstanding requirements and observations.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts in terms of activity level, compliance, relationship quality, and customer needs.
  • Document the outcomes of field visits, observations, and recommendations related to customers.
  • Monitor indicators of potential default or deviations in credit relationships within assigned accounts and escalate cases that require corrective action or further review.
  • Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager or team leader.
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers to present banking services and direct credit facilities tailored to small businesses.
  • Engage with business owners to introduce the bank’s products and competitive advantages, supporting sales growth and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Conduct field visits to prospective small businesses to present suitable banking services and credit facilities.
  • Conduct field visits to existing businesses to verify business continuity, assess the nature of operations, and confirm the actual purpose of the requested facilities.
  • Analyze the financial and economic data of businesses to support sound recommendations regarding the granting of credit facilities.
  • Prepare customer credit assessments, including analysis of business activities, income, expenses, cash flows, repayment sources, account statements, and proposed collateral.
  • Review and analyze customer applications and provide appropriate financing solutions that meet their needs in terms of facility type, amount, repayment period, installments, collateral, and applicable terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate credit facility terms and conditions with customers within the approved authority limits and guidelines, and follow up on the preparation of contracts and required documentation after approval.
  • Conduct annual customer reviews within the assigned portfolio in accordance with approved standards and update customers’ financial and credit information.
  • Execute sales activities related to small business financing facilities and acquire new customers in line with established sales plans.
  • Prepare applications and documentation for proposed credit facilities for acquired customers and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain the necessary approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, credit, and legal policies and procedures, as well as the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq and all applicable regulations.
  • Follow up on customer needs, respond to inquiries, and provide appropriate solutions in coordination with relevant departments to maintain customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking Sciences, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification in the fields of Management and Economics.
  • 1–3 years of experience, at a minimum, in a similar functional role.
