Job Description

NBCUniversal is looking for an Automotive Fleet Service Technician to join the Studio Operations team in Doraville, GA. In this role, you will support the repairs and maintenance of all on-lot vehicles which includes largely rentable production assets and a small fleet of golf carts. You will also be the primary liaison for an external vendor as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with the Manager of Transportation, Transportation Scheduler, and broader Transportation team for billing, outsourcing, and scheduling with production
  • Support basic maintenance on all related rental and in house transportation equipment (i.e. tire changes/repair, light mechanical work, general vehicle service)
  • Data entry for repair and maintenance records
  • Administer check in and check out procedures with the direction from the Manager of Transportation and Transportation Scheduler.
  • Fleet oversight
  • Responsible for vehicle and equipment presentation
  • Responsible for liaising with 3rd party providers for major equipment repairs
  • Responsible for vehicle diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Golf cart maintenance and repair
  • Responsible for annual vehicle inspections
  • Subject to U.S.D.O.T. mandated drug and alcohol testing

What You Must Have:

  • 5+ years of vehicle mechanic experience
  • 2+ years’ experience and proven ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle types
  • 2+ years exhibiting strong communication and relationship management skills with all levels and types of production and fleet roles
  • CDL/Class A license

What Would Make You a Stand-out:

  • Fleet repair and maintenance experience
  • Prior billing and vendor partnership experience
  • Required tools will be provided. Employee may instead choose to provide their own preferred or specialty tools

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
