This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who can build strong partnerships across Communications, HR, Technology, functional teams and our NBCU businesses while independently driving day-to-day work from strategy through execution. The ideal candidate will be a visible champion for a more modern, connected and cohesive employee ecosystem at an exciting and critical time for NBCUniversal as it prepares to become a public, standalone company.

Key Responsibilities

  • NBCUNow Experience: Serve as product manager and day-to-day site owner for the reimagined NBCU employee intranet, partnering with business and corporate contributors across the company to ensure information remains current, relevant, accessible and aligned with platform standards.
  • Employee Messaging Governance: Support the strategy and governance of NBCU internal messaging platforms, including enterprise email, app and AI agent communications. Provide clear guidance on which tools and channels to use for different communications needs, as well as the appropriate tone of voice for each. Establish standards, processes and best practices that create a consistent, effective employee communications experience.
  • Content Owner Training and Support: Collaborate on training and development for content owners and channel managers across NBCU, including resource materials, office hours, best practices and communications about platform and governance updates.
  • AI and Emerging Capabilities: Explore responsible opportunities to use AI and emerging technologies to improve employee communications systems, with a focus on integrating AI capabilities into the intranet.
  • Platform Strategy and Product Support: Partner with Technology teams, vendors and Communications leaders to gather requirements, support platform roadmaps, coordinate enhancements and contribute to the ongoing evolution of NBCU’s digital workplace tools.
  • Collaboration Platform Governance: Partner with stakeholders to define and reinforce how enterprise collaboration channels such as Microsoft Teams and Slack are used for employee communications, including ownership, access, publishing and channel-management standards.
  • Platform Communications: Develop clear, actionable communications for content owners, channel managers and stakeholders related to publishing expectations, governance changes, platform enhancements and new capabilities.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital communications, digital product management or a related field.
  • Experience managing or supporting intranets, content management systems, employee email platforms or enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience developing governance standards, publishing processes, templates, training materials or content-owner resources.
  • Ability to interpret analytics and translate performance data into practical recommendations.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve and transform the employee experience

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
