Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support the daily financial operations for the NBCUniversal Local Television stations serving Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role serves as a key finance partner supporting financial planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, month-end close and operational finance activities. The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting budget oversight, and providing timely analysis and insights that drive informed business decisions.
This position partners closely with station leadership, FP&A, Controllership, Operations & Technology, AP and Vendor Management teams to support the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, is a strong collaborator, demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills and can effectively balance operational execution with financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support monthly close activities including journal entries (accruals and reclasses), variance analysis, AP processes, etc.
- Build, maintain, and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and estimates.
- Monitor actual versus budgeted spend, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to finance and operational leadership.
- Prepare consolidated close reporting packages, variance analyses, overtime and T&E reporting for station management.
- Support capital planning and reporting, including project pacing, variance analysis, project close-outs, and coordination with operating partners.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for accounts payable activities including vendor onboarding, vendor maintenance, payment processing, and invoice management.
- Serve as a day-to-day finance liaison with local operations team including department heads to provide financial support, insights, performance tracking, and decision-making assistance.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency and financial transparency.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, financial controls, and accounting standards while ensuring accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of finance experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong proficiency with MS Office Suite products.
- Experience using financial/accounting software and applications (SAP and BPC preferred).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities across markets.
- Clear and effective communication skills with ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.

Additional Requirements
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Orlando office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
- Must be willing to travel occasionally for training, meetings, and other business-related purposes (typically no more than 1-2 times per year).
