Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to be part of our direct-to-consumer’s TVE product team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving development and implementation of data products and analytics solutions.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data initiatives align with business goals and inform how we can deliver significant value to our customers and the business.  This role will support NBCUniversal brands such as NBC, Bravo, Telemundo, NBC Sports, and NBC Olympics. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide thorough analytics QA and sign off on TVE platform tickets, logging bug tickets where necessary and informing squad PMO of any release blockers.

  • Act as analytics SME on the team, taking a holistic approach to tagging and data requirements, prioritizing data points that will drive the most value and insight while thinking creatively on how to bridge data gaps and derive directional insights. 
  • Partner closely with Decision Sciences, Data Engineering, Product and other stakeholders on understanding, prioritizing and owning requirements needed to enable data informed decisions. 
  • Assist in development and maintenance of the analytics product roadmap that aligns with business objectives. 
  • Inform the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch by defining requirements, creating user stories, and prioritizing analytics features across platforms. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, product, and data science teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of data implementations. 
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. 
  • Identify synergies/efficiencies across the Measurement and Analytics enterprise product teams and leverage a shared approach when applicable and reduce redundancy and duplication of functionality. 
  • Manage video analytics solutions to gain insights into user behavior and content performance. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on analytics, data products, or related areas. 
  • Strong understanding of data technologies, analytics tools, personalization techniques, and data governance best practices. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Curious and collaborative mindset, eager to truly understand the why’s and how’s. 
  • Consummate team player who can balance having a POV with the understanding that progress is through alignment, partnership and buy in across partners and stakeholders. 
  • Experience with at least one Digital Analytics platform (Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, mParticle, etc.). 
  • Experience with a data visualization tool (Domo, Tableau, Looker). 
  • Understanding of product tagging and data governance. 
  • Must be willing to work in a hybrid schedule in Universal City, CA

  • Experience in technology or digital media, preferably with consumer-facing products. 
  • Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex data results in a simple and concise way. 
  • Experience working with Adobe and mParticle tags.
  • Team oriented and collaborative approach with a demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new methods and tools. 
  • A passion for TV and movies and defining the future of entertainment. 
  • Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion. 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
