Job Description
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership, direction, and expertise for the Advertising & Partnerships organization. In collaboration with the VP, Human Resources, this person will provide day-to-day client support and strategic HR solutions for the organization.
This role will be a business partner with leaders in the areas of talent development, talent acquisition, performance management, change management, employee experience, employee coaching, compensation strategies, succession planning, training & development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication. This position will report into the VP Human Resources.
- Drive key HR initiatives across workforce planning, talent development, performance management, compensation, learning and development, rewards and recognition, recruitment, retention, organizational effectiveness, and employee communications.
- Partner closely with Ad Sales leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational success.
- Lead the design and implementation of change management strategies to support organizational transformation and business evolution.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, organizational design and workforce planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders and Talent Acquisition to attract, develop, and retain top internal and external talent.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees by providing strategic counsel, coaching, and guidance on organizational and people-related matters.
- Address employee concerns proactively and constructively, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
- Partner with management to identify workforce capability gaps and develop targeted learning and development strategies to meet business needs.
- Identify, assess, and recommend opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness, improve processes, and drive business performance.
- Build strong partnerships across the broader Media Group HR organization to ensure enterprise-wide initiatives are effectively integrated within Ad Sales & Partnerships, while strengthening connectivity and alignment across the consolidated vertical.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and other HR Centers of Excellence to support people programs, address employee and business needs, ensure compliance with company policies, and deliver effective HR solutions.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring HR programs and practices support both employee engagement and business outcomes.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study
- 5+ years relevant HR experience in the media industry, including employee relations and organizational development
- 2+ years in an HR Business Partner Manager role

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
