We are looking for you – a dynamic, data-driven, best-in-class talent to join as the Director, Performance Marketing, Programmatic + Search. This is an important role within the Growth Marketing organization, specifically the Performance Marketing team. You will lead the Programmatic + Search team in planning and executing strategies and tactics, leading an in-house team of performance marketing experts, and delivering strong results for the Peacock business.  

Role Overview 

You will lead Programmatic + Search strategy, investment, and platform partnerships across Peacock and the broader Performance Marketing organization. You'll execute the vision for how these channels drive incremental growth and engagement, oversees cross‑channel testing and measurement, and serves as a thought partner to Growth Strategy, Analytics, Finance, and external platform partners.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own Programmatic + Search strategy and execution across platforms including Google, Amazon and others.  
  • Lead the day-to-day management of partner relationships with Programmatic platforms, ensuring the partners are delivering against Peacock business goals and driving innovation.  
  • Partner with counterparts on the Performance Planning and Paid Social teams to develop efficient media plans for Standalone and Always On performance campaigns.  
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of Performance marketing experts, serving as the primary decision-maker on campaign execution, optimizations and channel strategy. Develop the team via regular feedback, career guidance, and leadership that fosters growth, curiosity, rigorous testing, and constructive debate. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Media Analytics, Finance, Data Strategy) to ensure alignment of business objectives, deployment of effective measurement solutions and generation of new approaches to challenges.  
  • Oversee the Learning Agenda and testing roadmap, translating performance data and experimentation into clear strategic recommendations for senior leadership. 
  • Guide overall MarTech and data strategy to activate best-in-class tech solutions and emerging technologies. 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, with deep Programmatic + Search expertise. 
  • Strong Programmatic platform and AdTech knowledge (Google, Amazon and others) and partner management skills.  
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to connect data, strategy, and storytelling to  provide recommendations and direction. 
  • Experience leading teams and developing high-performing talent.  
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, experimental design and ability to input into learning agenda.   
  • Experience working with MMM and MTA measurement and planning solutions.  
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic business with changing objectives. Ability to make decisions with varying levels of direction/available data.  
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.  
  • Proven experience leading teams, developing talent and influencing senior stakeholders 

Desired Characteristics  

  • Experience with onboarding and implementing DCO solutions  
  • Experience with campaign automation tools, automated and AI-powered workflows 
  • Experience operating in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional media or streaming or D2C environment  
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a high regard for attention to detail   

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
