Role Overview:

  • Manage complex master data requests from intake through completion, including Zendesk ticket monitoring, timely approvals, stakeholder communication, and escalation of risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Extract, analyze, and reconcile large datasets from SAP, MDG, and other boundary systems to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or other improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate data cleansing activities with business units, identifying data issues, prioritizing remediation efforts, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand NBCU business requirements, resolve data issues, and support adoption of SAP S/4HANA data governance processes
  • Leverage accounting and controls expertise to advise stakeholders on the appropriate use of master data within Record-to-Report processes
  • Communicate data governance policies, procedures, control requirements, and downstream process impacts to end users while maintaining current procedure and controls documentation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the data stewardship pillar by identifying opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate stewardship processes while monitoring data quality metrics and KPIs against agreed standards
