Job Description

The Brand Marketing Intern will support the APAC Franchise Strategy and Brand Marketing Function across the core responsibilities

  • Regional APAC Universal Theatrical Brand Marketing
  • Regional APAC Symphony  
  • Universal APAC Parks Brand Marketing

Besides the core responsibilities, you might be asked to support (on a case by case basis) the below functions

  • Regional APAC Universal Franchise Strategy execution 

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

Theatrical Brand Marketing/Parks

  • Support the Parks initiatives at Universal Studios Singapore/ Universal Studios Japan.
  • Help with the Approval process of various initiatives at the parks – marketing, entertainment, social/digital campaigns
  • Help plan and execute the annual parks presentation at Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios Japan.
  • Support in preparing movie slate presentations for Theatrical partners in the region.
  • Support local theatrical teams on promotional partnerships.

Symphony

  • Support Symphony projects in the APAC region for key titles.
  • Work closely with Theatrical, Parks, Consumer Products, TV Distribution group on executing key symphony initiatives.
  • Work closely with local theatrical teams on symphony initiatives for key titles.

Additional Responsibilities (if required on a case by case basis)

  • Support the execution and coordination of local and regional franchise initiatives, including but not limited to distribution of sales materials, content calendar updates, and live/digital campaign support
  • Provide administrative and coordination support, including but not limited to meeting scheduling, logistics management, Sharepoint updates, and asset sharing with teams and partners.

Qualifications

Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from January - June 2027 for undergraduate students. 

Basic Requirements:

  • Undergraduates seeking experience in the media & entertainment industry. 
  • Good interpersonal skills, stakeholder management. 
  • Keen eye for detail, consolidation, organisation. 
  • Interest in Consumer Insights, Marketing, Events, International market dynamics. 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Past exposure to the evolving digital/social environment.
  • Knowledge of global/local digital platforms/gaming targeting kids and young adults.
