Job Description

In this role, you will lead how Free Cash Flow (FCF) is shaped, analyzed, and communicated across NBCUniversal’s Filmed Entertainment segment. Reporting to the CFO of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, you will drive cash flow strategy, partner with senior leaders across the Studios enterprise, and build a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Film cash flow landscape. 

This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to influence decision-making, develop talent, and play a central part in the financial strategy of a dynamic, evolving business. 

Here you can: 

  • Lead the forecasting, close, and analysis of Free Cash Flow across the Film segment, including Production, Distribution, Participations & Residuals, and CAPEX 
  • Shape and evolve a clear, cohesive FCF narrative by partnering closely with business units and HQ P&L teams across the Film organization 
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team—coaching direct reports while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on innovation and actionable insights 
  • Own and lead the Film segment’s Budget and Long-Range Plan processes for FCF, ensuring alignment, accuracy, and strategic insight 
  • Present both routine and ad hoc financial insights to Film and Studios CFOs, influencing key business decisions 
  • Contribute to executive-level presentations, including operating reviews and strategic financial updates across the Studios enterprise 
  • Play a key role in preparing and delivering the quarterly Studios Global All Finance Update to a broad employee audience 
  • Serve as a primary liaison to Studios HQ and NBCU Corporate FP&A teams, providing financial pacing updates and responding to ad hoc requests 
  • Drive coordination and communication of Corporate deliverables during close and planning cycles, including variance analysis and supplemental reporting 
  • Oversee Studios CAPEX planning and forecasting, providing oversight at the project level to ensure accuracy and alignment 
  • Lead the consolidation and delivery of weekly 13-week domestic liquidity forecasts to NBCU Corporate Treasury 
  • Champion adoption of new Film FCF reporting solutions, serving as a subject matter expert and driving continuous improvement in tools and processes 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally within media or entertainment 
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and how they translate into financial planning and reporting 
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and experience navigating financial planning systems 
  • Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP 
  • Ability to develop clear, high-quality presentations under tight timelines 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across multiple business units 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-ready insights 
  • Well-developed strategic thinking, financial acumen, and relationship-building capabilities 
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including weekends, as needed

Additional Requirements:  

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
