Job Description

The Media Group at NBCU supports a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands including Peacock, NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports, and NBCU International. With unequalled scale, our teams make the most out of every opportunity to collaborate and learn from one another. We’re always looking for ways to innovate faster, accelerate our growth and consistently offer the very best in consumer experience. But most of all, we’re backed by a culture of respect. We embrace authenticity and inspire people to thrive.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the CDP product domain within the Customer Experience Platform (CXP) Martech team. This is a high-ownership IC (Individual Contributor) role responsible for the Customer Data Platform (CDP) as a shared global platform: the identity and audience data layer that serves Peacock, SkyShowtime, and NOW.

You'll be the primary intake point for CDP-related requirements from MarTech local teams across all three propositions, own and prioritize the backlog, and drive delivery in close partnership with Engineering (platform instrumentation) and Decision Science (data pipelines and attributes). A core operating principle for this role: solutions must be designed globally first, scalable across all applications, not built for a single product.

In this role you will:
Stakeholder Intake & Prioritization

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Peacock, SkyShowtime, and NOW MarTech and Marketing teams, owning all incoming CDP requests and proactively identifying data quality and data collection opportunities to scale our product customer lifecycle and marketing operation efforts.
  • Translate those needs into well-structured platform requirements, always with a global lens; solutions need to work across all three products, not just the one making the request.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog, balancing urgency against platform impact and engineering capacity.
  • Keep documentation and roadmap status visible and current across all partners.

Platform Delivery & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Decision Science and Engineering teams to define business requirements for platform instrumentation (e.g., event schemas, platform events, and data capture), ensuring alignment with global standards and prioritizing delivery based on business needs.
  • Partner with Decision Science on pipeline requirements, new attribute builds, and feed delivery to make sure data flows correctly into downstream systems.
  • Own the coordination of delivery milestones, testing, and QA sign-off, acting as the connective tissue between marketing stakeholders and the technical teams who build and operate the platform.

What You Have

  • Ability to intake, synthesize, and prioritize requirements from multiple marketing stakeholders across competing products and timelines
  • A platform-first mindset — instinct to design solutions that are global and scalable across multiple products rather than solving for one at a time
  • Empathy for marketing and growth teams as your primary customers, with curiosity to uncover the underlying need behind every request
  • Strong business judgment to balance short-term delivery needs against longer-term platform health and scalability
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed environment, building alignment across engineering, data, and marketing stakeholders at various levels of seniority
  • Technical curiosity and fluency to engage meaningfully with engineering and data engineering teams without owning the platform directly
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities across a global, multi-product organization
  • Self-motivation to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with tight schedules
  • Enthusiasm to be positive, collaborative, and energetic in a fast-moving streaming environment

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years working within a CDP, data platform, or martech infrastructure environment in a requirements, product, or delivery coordination capacity
  • Working knowledge of one or more enterprise CDPs (mParticle, Segment, Adobe CJA, Tealium, or equivalent) sufficient to translate business needs into platform requirements and engage effectively with technical teams
  • Strong understanding of platform event schemas, identity resolution, audience segmentation, and data feed architecture
  • Proven ability to partner with engineering on instrumentation requirements and with data engineering teams on pipeline and attribute delivery
  • Familiarity with downstream activation tools (Braze, Branch, Adtech) and data warehouse environments (Snowflake) is a strong plus
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development environments
  • Streaming, subscription, or B2C consumer product background preferred
  • BS/BA required; technical or data-adjacent background a plus
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
