Job Description
Universal Pictures International Austria is looking for a new Marketing Intern (f/m/d). After a short training & onboarding period you will be integrated in the work processes and will gain comprehensive insights into all aspects of Marketing of an international Film Distributor:
Marketing-, Media- & PR Campaigns, Cooperation & Partnership & Trade Marketing – from analog to digital.
Your Tasks include:
- Support of the Marketing Department in marketing our Film releases
- Participation in the development of film- & target-oriented, creative Media-, Communication- & Digital-Strategies
- Collaboration with Agencies
- General back-office support & organizational agendas for local events
- Cross-department & cross-country internal communication
- Support in organization and handling of press screenings & communication with journalists
- Reporting, research & analysis support, maintenance & administration of various portals
This is paid full-time internship with a duration of 6 months starting September 1, 2026.
Qualifications
You communicate openly and effectively and can organize your work and yourself well. You have a high digital affinity & social media skills and good practical MS-Office-knowledge (especially word & excel), graphic design skills (Adobe) are an advantage.
You have an excellent command of German and very good command of written & spoken English.
Even with a high workload, you don’t lose track of things. Reliability, teamwork & a sense of humor as well as a passion for film & cinema round off your profile.
The minimum requirement is a high school diploma. You must also be enrolled in a degree program with a focus on marketing. We will require a valid enrolment certificate.

For the internship position we offer a monthly salary of € 2.169,36 for 40 hours/week.
