For almost a century, Universal has been known for its diverse slate of films, including classics such as Jaws, the Jurassic Park series, Mamma Mia, Fast and Furious and Bourne. UPI owns and operates direct theatrical marketing and distribution of feature films in many locations around the globe including Austria, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and UK & Eire. In other territories UPI market and distribute movies through its JV offices, as well as in select territories, licensees who are contracted to distribute on UPI's behalf.
Job Description
The Creative Trainee will be part of the Marketing team within Universal Pictures International Spain.
About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Trainee to join the Marketing team at Universal Pictures International Spain. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across creative advertising, campaign delivery, and content localisation within a fast-paced, global studio environment.
Reporting to the Creative Advertising Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of creative assets across multiple media channels, including TV, OOH, radio, digital display, and social.
This role is ideal for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about film and marketing, who is keen to build a career in creative or campaign operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the coordination and tracking of campaign timelines, including delivery deadlines, production schedules, and activation dates across all media channels
- Assist with the localisation and adaptation of creative campaign materials for the Spanish market
- Work closely with the creative team to support the localisation of trailers, posters, TV and radio spots, and print materials
- Support the development and localisation of social media content
- Monitor and follow up on digital display campaigns for film releases
- Coordinate the delivery of creative assets (including trailers, posters and social content) to media and social agencies
- Liaise with media agencies to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials
- Act as a key point of contact for international teams and agencies on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinate with local creative agencies, vendors, and production partners
- Support the management of dubbing studios and post-production vendors (e.g. image labs), under guidance from the Creative team
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Provide general support across the wider marketing team as needed

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Interest in film, media, and creative advertising
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working across different teams, including creative, media, and production
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- University Degree in Communication /Marketing and/or Creative degrees. University Diploma or Certificate will be requested
- The studies must have finished less than 3 years ago
