Job Description

  • Play a significant role in the definition and implementation of an over-arching application strategy, including architecture, design, roadmaps and services contract management.
  • Responsible for gathering business requirements, functional design, performing/guiding configuration, testing, and managing the work of junior team members and managed service providers.
  • Understand NBCU business processes requirements by engaging with business partners at enterprise and division level and understanding relevant problem areas.
  • Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and technical specifications.
  • Design functional solutions to solve business problems and needs.
  • Ensure agreement on design with process owners.
  • Review treasury design recommendations to ensure quality and consistency across the Global Treasury footprint.
  • Support and implement SAP Treasury management processes, which includes Bank account management, Bank communication management, In House Cash, SAP Payment formats, Bank files formats, AP Payments process, Lockbox processes, AR Cash Application, Bank Statements, Interest calculations, Netting and Intercompany transfers.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and SAP team members.
  • Review and/or participate in solution build and test activities on SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects.
  • Review current standards and revise to ensure best practices.
  • Serve as the conduit between engagement team, business, and engineering.
  • Perform integrations using XML and API technologies to interface with Banks.
  • Perform validations and substitutions, DME structures and Rules, which have low code/no code scripting.
  • Through understanding of SAP S/4 tables such as ACDOCA, Business partner table BUT000 etc. and corresponding CDS views and other artifacts.
  • Perform S/4 Finance and Treasury system configuration as per Business requirements and workflows.
  • Analyzing/trouble shooting/debug of on-premise/cloud ABAP/4 programs and SAP Queries.
  • Design of print programs using ADOBEFORM and Fiori applications.
  • Interface with third party systems using API technologies.
  • Manage small and medium size projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and on budget.
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure business requirements are developed, validated and system development goals are achieved.

Hybrid work schedule (minimum 3 days in office).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Business or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent), plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, if unrelated degree or no degree, employer will accept 12 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Experience with at least 5 SAP project implementations of high complexity, large scale and global user base.
  • The position requires the following skills, which must have been gained through 10 years of experience:
    1. Progressive SAP hands-on experience leading up to Architect level work in a consultative and/or IT capacity.
    2. Experience with SAP Finance (Treasury, FICO, AR & AP) and knowledge of BW, SAC and SAP Security.
    3. Experience with IT/SAP project methodologies and change control processes.
    4. Experience with Design to Deploy of Interfaces/Integrations/IDOC's to SAP.
    5. Experience with Design to Deploy of Data conversions.
    6. Experience creating Functional specs for Interfaces/Integrations, Reports and SAP scripts.

 

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $150,550 - $170,000 per year
Full-time: 40 hours/week
