Job Description

Noticias Telemundo is seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Producer to join the morning show team. This role is responsible for producing high-impact graphics and editing compelling video content under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, live news environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in breaking news situations, adapts quickly to last-minute changes, and understands the urgency and discipline required in a 24/7 news division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce broadcast-quality graphics for live and recorded segments, including full screens, lower thirds, explainer visuals, and social-first adaptations, based on our template system.
  • Edit video packages, teases, and show elements using AVID Media Composer or Adobe Premiere.
  • Work closely with producers, executive producers, and talent to execute the editorial vision of the morning show.
  • Quickly turn around graphics and edits for breaking news, developing stories, and evolving rundowns.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual elements in alignment with Noticias Telemundo standards.
  • Incorporate data, maps, charts, and visual explainers to enhance storytelling.
  • Troubleshoot technical and workflow issues under deadline pressure.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in broadcast news production, preferably in a live or morning show environment.
  • Strong proficiency in AVID Media Composer or Adobe Premiere (required).
  • Advanced experience with broadcast graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Viz, Flowics or similar systems).
  • Solid news judgment and understanding of editorial workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Spanish required; strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to pivot quickly with last-minute changes and evolving priorities.
  • Comfortable operating in a 24/7 news division, where breaking news and schedule adjustments are part of the culture.
