Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a Director of Sales Content Marketing to lead strategic content-driven partnerships across NBC and Telemundo platforms within the 11-state Central Region. This role will collaborate with Local and National Content teams to deliver bespoke, category-specific solutions that drive revenue growth across News, Entertainment, and Sports.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development
- Take a strategic approach to identify and create partnership opportunities with a high likelihood of category or client demand, ensuring solutions are progressive and market-relevant.
- Develop innovative, non-traditional advertising partnerships, including new-to-market opportunities, third-party collaborations, and non-linear/native executions.
- Leverage NBCUniversal’s full suite of capabilities, programming, and demographic insights to design high-impact solutions tailored to client objectives.
- Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Drive incremental revenue through adoption and creation of high-demand partnership programs.
- Align network capabilities with advertiser goals to maximize partnership success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales and Content stakeholders across NBC and Telemundo platforms to deliver integrated solutions.
- Secure internal stakeholder buy-in and project manage complex programs from ideation to execution.
- Client-Centric Approach
- Build strong relationships with clients and agencies as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership.
- Anticipate and meet evolving market demands across the Central Region by aligning advertiser objectives with NBCUniversal’s capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content marketing, integrated media solutions, or strategic partnerships within media/advertising.
- Deep understanding of multi-platform ecosystems (linear, digital, social, streaming/FAST).
- Exceptional project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and develop non-traditional advertising solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with NBCUniversal portfolio and audience insights across NBC and Telemundo Local or similar properties
- Experience in sports, entertainment, and news marketing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment.
Travel & Coverage
- Travel within the 11-state Central Region to meet clients, agencies, and station teams; periodic travel to national HQ/market hubs as needed.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000.
