Job Description

Role Purpose

Vice President, Motion Branding and Graphics directs and oversees motion imagery and graphics for all NBC Entertainment brand and content. This position reports to the Senior Vice President Creative Marketing, NBC Entertainment Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, evolve and lead motion design for title and brand video marketing for all NBC Entertainment placements, outlets and properties
  • Drive the creation of visually bold, culturally relevant campaigns that break through across broadcast, streaming, digital, social, experiential, and out-of-home platforms.
  • Establish Motion department goals and performance objectives
  • Identify and manage budget needs for department projects in coordination with Budget team
  • Build and supervise continuity and alignment of visual brand aesthetic across all platforms for network and network content
  • Proactively collaborate with creative peers in NBC Marketing, including Static Design, Project Management, Operations and Shoots teams
  • Form and maintain professional working relationships with top out-of-house resources and agencies
  • Acquire, manage and develop in-house motion design talent and teams – IATSE (union) daily hires, staff and/or contracted creative directors, graphic designers, shoot/talent directors to expand capabilities in motion concepting, design, animation and production
  • Engage and partner with teams across Entertainment, including Brand Strategy, Consumer Engagement, Social, Communications, Shoots, as well as across the NBCU portfolio, including Peacock, Sports, News and Cable nets
  • Must be able, as needed/required to work from home or on site needed; and travel to motion branding shoots and professional conventions and events

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of agency advertising and/or television promotion experience
  • Minimum 10+ years in senior design creative role, managing team of 5+
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat;

  • Confident in collaborating with partners to formulate the best creative development.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
