NBC UNIVERSAL, pour ses activités d’édition de chaînes thématiques (en France 13ème Rue, SYFY, E!, DreamWorks, et le service Universal+) et de services vidéo par abonnement (Hayu)
Mission : Au sein du Département Etudes, votre mission consistera à assister le Directeur senior, Data Insights EMEA Networks, Direct-to-Consumer et Hayu :
- Analyser les performances d’audience des chaînes du groupe NBC Universal et de leurs concurrents dans la région Europe, Moyen-Orient, Afrique.
- Suivre la programmation des chaînes du groupe NBC Universal et de leurs concurrents dans la région Europe, Moyen-Orient, Afrique.
- Elaborer des recommandations sur l’optimisation de la programmation des chaînes NBCU ou les acquisitions de programmes à partir des données d’audience.
- Analyser la consommation non-linéaire des chaînes du groupe NBC Universal en France (offre Universal+).
- Assurer le suivi des offres commerciales des distributeurs de télévision payante dans la région Europe, Moyen-Orient, Afrique : composition des bouquets de chaînes, points d’entrée tarifaires, offres promotionnelles, etc.
- Assurer la maintenance des bases de données internes utilisées pour l'analyse des audiences et l'intelligence de marché, afin de fournir des analyses pertinentes aux interlocuteurs internes.
- Réunir des informations sur les marchés internationaux, les plateformes de télévision payante ou les concurrents pour soutenir les projets commerciaux pour des chaînes EMEA de NBC Universal et de Hayu.
- Aider au développement et au suivi d'études qualitatives et quantitatives sur les consommateurs, en fonction des objectifs commerciaux des services de télévision de la région EMEA et de Hayu.
- Participer aux études marketing récurrentes commanditées pour le service Hayu (notoriété/intention d’abonnement des prospects et satisfaction des abonnés).
- Participer aux travaux d’automatisation du recueil et du traitement des données d’audience.

Mission:
Within the Research Department, your role will be to support the Senior Director, Data Insights EMEA Networks, Direct-to-Consumer and Hayu, by performing the following tasks:
- Analyze audience performance for NBCUniversal channels and their competitors across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
- Monitor the programming of NBCUniversal channels and competing networks in the EMEA region.
- Develop recommendations on programming optimization for NBCU channels or on program acquisitions based on audience data.
- Analyze non-linear consumption of NBCUniversal channels in France (Universal+ offering).
- Track the commercial offers of pay‑TV distributors in the EMEA region, including bouquet composition, price points, promotional offers, etc.
- Maintain internal databases used for audience analysis and market intelligence, in order to provide relevant insights to internal stakeholders.
- Gather information on international markets, pay‑TV platforms, or competitors to support commercial projects for NBCUniversal’s EMEA channels and for Hayu.
- Assist in developing and monitoring qualitative and quantitative consumer research aligned with the business objectives of NBCUniversal’s EMEA TV services and Hayu.
- Participate in recurring marketing studies commissioned for Hayu (brand awareness/subscription intent among prospects, and subscriber satisfaction).
- Contribute to projects aimed at automating the collection and processing of audience data.
Qualifications
- Vous justifiez d’une formation de niveau bac +4/5, type ESC, Sciences Po, Master marketing ou management des médias ; convention de stage obligatoire fournie par votre école
- Vous êtes passionné(e) par l’audiovisuel et les nouveaux médias numériques ;
- Vous êtes rigoureux(se), organisé(e) avec un vrai souci du détail, et familier(e) des techniques d’analyse quantitative ;
- Vous justifiez impérativement d’une excellente maîtrise d’Excel. Une familiarité avec les outils d’analyse d’audience TV de Médiamétrie (Restit TV) et/ou avec Techedge constitue un atout certain.
- Une première expérience de stage dans l’audiovisuel apporterait également un plus à votre candidature, idéalement au sein d’un éditeur de chaînes thématiques payantes ;
- Vous justifiez d’un excellent niveau d’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral, y compris au téléphone.
A noter : Le stage se déroulera en présentiel (Paris Opéra) du lundi au jeudi de chaque semaine, et au choix du stagiaire en présentiel ou en distanciel le vendredi.
Master degree student in a business school degree, Sciences Po, or a Master’s in Marketing or Media Management. Internship agreement provided by your school mandatory
You are passionate about the audiovisual sector and new digital media.
You are rigorous, organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with quantitative analysis techniques.
You have an excellent command of Excel. Familiarity with Médiamétrie’s TV audience analysis tools (Restit TV) and/or Techedge is a strong plus.
A first internship experience in the audiovisual industry would be a valuable asset, ideally within a pay‑TV thematic channel publisher.
You have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken, including over the phone.
Please note: The internship will take place on‑site (Paris Opéra) from Monday to Thursday each week, and on Friday either on‑site or remotely at the intern’s discretion.
