NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product team is seeking a Manager, Product to lead a team of Product Owners and Specialists dedicated to building and evolving the NBCU Profile product within the Enterprise Product, Data group. This role is responsible for driving key NBCU Profile platform initiatives from initial intake and definition through successful and timely execution—advancing the enterprise objective of secure, unified identity architecture in close partnership with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Business Engagement teams. The ideal candidate is technology savvy, passionate about identity, security, and data, and proactive in fostering a collaborative, transparent, and metrics-driven environment.

 

Responsibilities:

· Assess NBCU Profile needs from our business units and determine project-level solutions that align with our target architecture, working across a diverse group of stakeholders and collaborators

· Track platform program risks, help drive mitigations and represent status to broader leadership team

· Evaluate current state Profile & Identity workflows and develop recommendations for consolidation, modernization, and compliance with privacy/security standards

· Help evolve our platform intake and engagement model, prioritization and planning/road-mapping practices, and communications strategy

· Foster a metrics-driven environment establishing and driving adoption of standards for measuring product success aligning with quarterly-planning framework

· In collaboration with leadership, align resources to best support new product deliverables

· Advise and mentor product owners and specialists

 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

· 7+ years product management experience, and 2+ years of people management 

· Experience with Identity & Profile products and services, including identity, authentication, authorization, and privacy controls

· Experience in Television, Entertainment or Streaming

· Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence)

· Experience with Identity & Profile management technologies

· Demonstrated success defining and launching viable products

· Effective written and verbal communication, public speaking skills

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate with teammates and leadership

· Proven ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing priorities, balancing short term progress with long-term thinking and comfort leveraging data and intuition to make strategic choices in the face of complexity and ambiguity

· Strategic thinker who can connect business requests to technology solutions and think holistically about the end-to-end experience

· Experience with Agile methodology, with a focus on leading agile teams and managing cross-team dependencies
