The Commerce Product team in specific oversees subscription management features for the company’s Media Group portfolio that includes Peacock in the United States as well as NOW, Sky Showtime, and Showmax in international markets. Combined, we serve more than 100 million users in 70 global markets. Our 100+ person organization manages back-end billing and payments systems as well as the front-end journeys that enable them. It includes design, engineering, data, and product. The stakeholder groups outside of our team include strategic growth, marketing, viewing/content, customer care, and more.
 

About the Role:
As a Product Manager on the Commerce “Upgrade and Churn” Product team, you will conceive, define, design, develop, test, and launch experiences that support business goals toward increasing subscription revenue and preventing voluntary churn. You will do this by creating upgrade journeys for users across web, mobile devices, and TV platforms that are transparent and elegant. To do this, you will work with engineering, data, partnerships, design, research, and more. As a Product Manager, you will be at the center of all of these teams, inspiring innovation, motivating best-in-class solutions, and driving alignment all along the way through execution.

Reports to: Principal Product Manager, Commerce Upgrade and Churn
 

Responsibilities:

  • Helping to develop a roadmap of impactful products, features, and optimizations that prioritize customer value, business growth, and strategic opportunities.
  • Monitoring performance of core upgrade journeys, developing a deep knowledge of how existing flows technically work as well as behavioral patterns for how users move between subscription products.
  • Collaborating with Design and Engineering teams to evaluate solution approaches, assess technical feasibility, and ensure alignment on building the most effective and fitting product outcomes.
  • Identifying and leading new feature development initiatives to drive subscription profitability goals; being able to effectively communicate your ideas to different audiences and influence them to understand your vision.
  • Active, ongoing experimentation on production experiences, continually a/b testing to fine-tune our product journeys and learn.
  • Working with Legal to understand compliance requirements and propose product solutions that meet the needs.
  • Operational work related to pricing and copy edit updates across your owned surfaces.
  • Effectively and consistently communicate your work and priorities to your manager, working peers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • You are an experienced product owner with a proven track record of end-to-end ownership and production of user-facing journeys. 
  • You use experimentation tools, technologies, established best practices, and your own experience-based methods. 
  • You can defend and vigorously pursue ideas based on quantitative and qualitative insights, acting in staunch support of what is best for the user.
  • You identify the most impactful concepts and push them through a rigorous course of critical evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, and success.
  • You feel most at home in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment. 
  • You are a fast and eager learner willing to take on new challenges and explore ambiguous problems.
  • You have strong communication skills, including the ability to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders and distill complex messages into simple language both verbally and in writing.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in product management, owning front-end user journeys.
  • Experience developing and shipping products for the web, mobile apps, smart TVs, connected TV devices – tvOS, Fire TV, Roku, etc. 
  • Expertise in product experimentation— design, analytics, A/B testing, user testing, and market research.  
  • Comfort working with team members across UX design, data, engineering, and stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, AirTable, Figma, Optimizely, and MS suite applications.
  • A deep understanding and interest in the streaming industry, its major players, trends, and challenges.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
