ABOUT THE ROLE:
NBC Universal is seeking a Programming Coordinator to join a driven and highly motivated team located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as part of the Program Operations team in Media Operations. This coordinator role will have a primary focus on VOD and will gain valuable experience in our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the rest of Media Fulfillment, Product, and Engineering teams across multiple site locations.
- Monitor delivery of content to specified platforms, troubleshooting, and escalating to quickly rectify any potential issues.
- Late night support hero, hours are 7pm–3am EST.
- Provide support for pre and post checks on content that has delivered to ensure all information is correct outbound, and that each piece of media has successfully reached its destination.
- Monitoring and working to resolve partner tickets that come in daily. This includes escalation, fixing content entries and retrying deliveries. Will work closely with our digital networks origination center who are confirming that content is available on the actual platforms.
- Must have and retain a solid understanding of internal workflow tools that the coordinator would be trained on.
- Provide network coverage for brand owners where necessary.
- Work in multiple systems to create and manage orders.
- May be assigned to different brands based on business needs.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to be on site a minimum 3 days per week.
- Must be able to work a late night/overnight shift.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications and effective interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 1 year in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to technical professionals and operations staff
- Minimum 1 year experience showing excellent application skill with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or 2-year degree in Communications or Media.
- Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed with advance notice.
- 1 year+ experience working with video distribution in a TV Broadcast environment
- Passion for broadcast and new media distribution- should enjoy keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends.

- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
