DreamWorks Animation is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Marketing department executive team.

Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

 “What would you say you do here?”

  • The Administrative Assistant will provide support to three executives in the marketing department.

  • The role will focus on scheduling/coordinating meetings, screening phone calls, expense reports, travel arrangements, and department finance processing.

  • The Assistant may also be asked to provide other support to the team, including screenings, presentation materials, and special projects as needed.

  • The Assistant is a critical contributor to the success of the Marketing team.

Qualifications

“What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

  • Minimum one (1) year of Administrative experience in a corporate setting

  • Bachelor degree required

  • Strong Google Suite & MS Office Suite experience & computer skills are critical

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and people skills

  • Must work well as part of a collaborative team, and possess a positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through

  • Adept at navigating a segmented and rapid-paced organization

  • Familiarity with studio operations and culture

  • An interest in animation as a genre and marketing as a discipline

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
