Company Description
VERSANT, Comcast Corporation’s (NASDAQ: CMCSA) planned spin-off, will be a leading independent publicly traded media company comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
FANDANGO is looking for a Program Manager to lead our next big thing in content delivery.
In this role, you’ll join the Fandango At Home PMO team, helping to deliver the tools and systems that power how we stream content. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building for scale, and making a measurable impact – we’d love to meet you.
The Program Manager will be leading and organizing various initiatives across the Fandango At Home program. The Program Manager will partner with Product and Technical leaders across the Fandango At Home teams to plan scope, define team capacity and own delivery of initiatives, while providing regular status reporting and identifying risks to leadership and stakeholders.
Experience managing medium to large-scale programs on consumer facing web, mobile or home entertainment platforms with strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies will increase prospect for success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage program for Fandango At Home (VOD, EST, PPV) initiatives.
- Define program structure that follows standard Fandango PMO program governance.
- Develop project plans for medium to large-scale initiatives.
- Report status of program initiatives to all levels of the organization.
- Manage timelines, risk, control scope and communicate any risk events to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper level of documentation is delivered with each program; document requirements as necessary.
- Manage and monitor dependencies across teams for cross-platform initiatives.
Qualifications
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 6 to 8 years relevant project and program management experience.
- Must have a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced and integrated solutions.
- Must have experience creating project plans for medium to large-scale initiatives.
- Experience working with key stakeholders to build out and report on program roadmap.
- Experience leading multiple teams and managing cross platform projects & programs.
- Experience using Jira to manage and track projects. In-depth Jira knowledge and experience architecting Jira backend, a plus.
- Interest in process optimization and rolling out of process updates across tech org.
- Must be organized.
- Ability to roll out and enforce processes within the technology organization.
- Ability to understand and analyze different technology solutions at a high level.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to direct and improve a small team.
- Strong interpersonal & communications skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external (3rd party) organizations.
- Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality.
- B.S. or B.A. in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience in a software organization managing multiple projects.
- A broad range of knowledge regarding internet technologies, including (but not necessarily limited to) cloud technologies, publishing tools, mobile and living room (home entertainment) technology including client/ server architecture, and ad serving integration.
- A working knowledge of cyber security, compliance and data privacy standards.
Fully Remote: This role has been designated as fully remote, meaning it is expected to be performed from a non-Versant worksite, typically an employee’s residence.
