The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description
The primary function of the Business Affairs Assistant is to efficiently support Business Affairs executives in their day-to-day job responsibilities, while demonstrating an ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Solid time management and multi-tasking skills are essential. Position requires an individual who is highly organized, exhibits excellent judgment, is a self-starter and has an ability to work with a high level of detail, while interfacing with a variety of creative clients and high-level executives (internally and externally). A high degree of confidentiality and discretion are expected in regard to all matters and documents.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day administrative support to the EVP, Head of Business Affairs and to the broader team as needed.
- Optimize the executive’s time by providing administrative leverage in the areas of scheduling, traveling, and daily needs such as implementing phone calls and engagements.
- Schedule and manage their calendars including prioritizing and resolving conflicts and competing demands, and proactively schedule meetings with internal and external attendees, work with finance & HR teams to organize small-to-large-scale meetings.
- Coordinate travel including flight tickets, hotel bookings, and car reservations.
- Support and coordinate weekly staff meetings including minute taking.
- Complete various forms including travel expense reports and payment processing.
- Perform general clerical duties.
- Contribute to the excellent reputation of the BA office through professional, friendly, and respectful interactions internally and externally.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience at a media company, law firm or adjacent industry
- Experience in organizing meetings, assisting with travel and hotel accommodations, and providing general office support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications.
- Ability to multitask while handling significant incoming requests.

- Firm understanding of legal terminology and familiarity with contract language.
- Prior experience working at a law firm, talent agency, entertainment studio or production company
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
