Job Description
Role Purpose:
The VP, Finance Transformation - AP is a critical role for NBCUniversal’s SAP S/4 HANA implementation, “Project Keystone.” This position will work with colleagues across the global NBCU Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment. This role will be an important part of ensuring inclusive design decisions, effective change management and substantial Finance transformation. This role will lead the Accounts Payable (AP) workstream, serving as the Controllership’s single point of contact. Liaise with IT, System Integrator, Business Units and Global Finance Operations to align on functional requirements and ensure business critical inputs are incorporated in the future process and system design.
Responsibilities:
- Strong candidate will have proven success record in transforming legacy AP processes and technology environments in a large complex enterprise.
- Ability to work in a complex Invoice to Pay ecosystem, with the goal of simplifying and standardizing processes.
- Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) with SAP S/4 functionality, data design and migration for AP processes.
- Interface with horizontal workstreams (Data, IT, Risk and Controls), the Finance Transformation leadership team, System Integrators (SI) and more to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, master data elements, and functionality related to the current legacy AP landscape, to translate AP needs into the design of SAP S/4 solutions.
- Eloquently translate finance functional requirements to technical teams for development.
- Participate in fit to standard workshops and sessions around data migration design and validation.
- Serve as a leader during fit-to-standard workshops and drive solutioning for established GAPs. Share and drive our fit-to-standard mission within the AP business processes.
- Build stakeholder consensus and ensure everyone is on the same page, in agreement, and can understand the solution being proposed.
- Be a change agent for the SAP S/4 transformation.
- Evaluate third party AP solutions as an alternative to custom development where SAP recommends.
- Identify what master and transactional data is required to support future AP business processes and operational/analytical reporting.
- Represent and manage an experienced team of subject matter experts that will support the AP workstream team as a cohesive unit.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of large enterprise Accounts Payable experience.
- 5+ years of work experience in an SAP ecosystem.
- Demonstrated understanding of SAP S/4 Hana business processes/design.
- Experience in organizational change management.
- Successful track record of large-scale project management and accomplishment of on-time delivery.

- Proven ability to represent the company with third party implementers with a collaborative mindset.
- A working knowledge of finance and data processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or information systems a plus.
