Job Description
Role Summary:
NBCUniversal is seeking a creative, high-energy coordinator to support the Talent Development team for Operations & Technology and Corporate Functions. Reporting to the Director, Talent & Organizational Development, with a dotted line into the Manager, Talent & Pipeline Operations, this role will help shape our talent strategy, program development, and retention efforts in the fast-paced media and entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing people and creating engaging, impactful experiences that foster creative excellence and enhance team performance.
Responsibilities:
Program & Project Coordination
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, workshops, and events, while ensuring clear communication with stakeholders across various departments.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant information, and talent development initiatives.
- Support the day-to-day operations of development projects and the annual talent review process to ensure that timelines and deliverables are met.
Learning & Development
- Support new employee onboarding, including department-specific training, and integration into the company’s culture.
- Assist with identifying training needs, supporting content development, scheduling sessions, and providing logistical support for effective in-person and virtual training.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, working with the team to ensure representation across talent programs.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Track metrics related to employee performance, learning outcomes, and organizational development programs
- Utilize surveys and performance metrics to evaluate training impact, skill gaps, and employee satisfaction to develop and retain talent.
- Create reports on talent development progress, training attendance, and key talent insights across the employee lifecycle for HR and leadership teams.

- Systems savvy – You’re proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook – with an interest in learning and leveraging e-learning, basic video editing, and graphic design software.
- Communicates with ease – You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the professional savviness of communicating at all levels of the organization
- Analytical – You’ve never met a data point you didn’t like. You can tell a story with data and draw insights through numbers
- Creatively Curious – You like researching new approaches that keep us ahead of the curve. You regularly engage in self-learning and learning through others, while developing your capability to impart knowledge to others.
- Resourceful – If you don’t have the answer, you figure it out. You’re comfortable navigating a complex environment to obtain information and seek buy-in. You’re a self-starter with a high degree of accountability.
- Finally, you’re team-oriented and want to understand + drive the larger Org Development talent strategy
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
- Must be willing to work in New York City, NY
Desired Characteristics:
You’ve worked in media/entertainment/tech, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have:
- Previous experience in event and/or office management
- Experience facilitating in virtual and/or in-person environments
- Experience with graphic design and publishing tools like Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Articulate Rise, SharePoint, Campaign Monitor
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
