Programme Essentials
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year
- Graduating from your undergraduate degree in Summer 2025
- Looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
In addition, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 30th June 2025 – Friday 17th July 2026

What will I be doing?
As a Content Planning Intern, you will assist in the planning of content on various television channels in a number of territories. This will involve learning and using bespoke data entry systems, as well as data analysis of ratings, tracking the channels performance, competitor analysis, and screening content. You will also be involved in market research, and the acquisition of new content.
You will have exposure to a broad range of tasks that all go into the operation of a television channel, which will enhance your strategic thinking in an ever-changing landscape.
What will I learn from this opportunity?
Channel Planning
Programming a TV channel and all that entails, from the viewing and acquisition of shows to the strategy of their placement on linear and non-linear platforms.
The TV Village
You will sit with the content programming team, but you will learn from the environment in which channels are the central aspect: exposure to marketing, ad sales, research, creative, every department that makes a TV channel a success.
The Fundamentals of Broadcasting
You will be integral to the team with hands on experience in the field of TV.
