Job Description

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio is a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands, supported by media industry leaders, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. This leadership role is embedded in the Peacock Decision Sciences team and partners closely with marketing leadership.  Primary focus is developing insights into Peacock media performance and transforming those insights into growth-maximizing decisions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conceive and execute analytics strategy for media measurement, insights and optimization for Peacock digital and off-line media (e.g., social, programmatic, device, television)
  • Cultivate strong working relationship with marketing leadership of Peacock and other NBCU brands (including agency partners)
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to define shared objectives, develop analytic plans and execute analyses that drive business change
  • Demonstrate strategic agility and thought leadership in collaboration with marketing leaders to evolve KPIs and measurement approaches
  • Work with stakeholders to build and prioritize media test & learn agenda
  • Synthesize complex analyses of media performance and user-level behavior on the Peacock platform into digestible, impactful insights for a variety of audiences
  • Design, implement and evolve advanced media measurement techniques to guide decision-making, including control holdout design, A/B testing, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Marketing Mix Models (MMM)
  • Transform organic social campaign and sentiment signals into digestible narratives and recommendations to grow audience engagement on Peacock
  • Conduct downstream analyses of user-behavior on platform and develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies to drive growth
  • Develop self-serve dashboards to enable ‘analytics as a team sport’ and evangelize data democratization throughout the organization
  • Recruit, develop and supervise a team of analytics professionals who combine technical skills with strong communication and business acumen
  • Partner with Data Science team to guide predictive modeling efforts including customer lifetime value and other audience targeting models
  • Take ownership of projects and analyses from conception through execution, presentation, and follow-through, collaborating with relevant partners

Salary range: $215,000 - $260,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other relevant quantitative fields
    • 12+ years of analytical experience with large data sets and analytical tools
    • Expertise in media analytics in the direct-to-consumer, eCommerce or Entertainment spaces
    • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate, motivate and influence
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Fluent in SQL, proficient in Excel, and proficient in using at least one of the following programming languages for data analysis: R or Python
    • Knowledge of Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools ,
    • Knowledge of data science techniques a plus
    • Track record of leadership of analytics teams
    • Demonstrates strong sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose.
