Job Description

The Manager, Health Systems Integration plays an essential role in supporting NASTAD’s technical assistance, capacity building, and advocacy work as it relates to insurance coverage and access, public health financing, and partnerships with health care payers and systems. This position works closely with entire Health Systems Integration team to support programmatic activities.

Essential Duties

  • Support, with input from the Director of Health Systems Integration, key activities under NASTAD’s insurance coverage and access portfolio, including conducting research, synthesizing complex material, and packaging deliverables for a variety of audiences
  • Support, with input from the Director of Health Systems Integration, key activities under NASTAD’s Health Care Access and Prevention technical assistance portfolios, including supporting development of webinars, peer learning opportunities, and deliverables to support health department efforts to utilize health systems data
  • Convene health department staff for annual Health Systems Integration peer-to-peer in-person meetings
  • Represent NASTAD in various meetings with federal and national partners and other stakeholders
  • Attend and represent NASTAD at conferences and participate in relevant external meetings
  • Interact with, and respond in a timely manner to, the needs of health department staff members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Experience/Education

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent, 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience working in the area of HIV and or hepatitis a plus

Minimum Competencies

  • Demonstrated technical expertise with the Affordable Care Act and related health systems and financing reforms and impact on public health programs, services, and providers (experience with insurance plan analysis plus)
