Job Description
To lead the preparation, submission, negotiation, and administration of commercial bids, tenders, and contracts, ensuring competitive proposals, contractual compliance, and effective commercial risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the identification and review of Oil & Gas tender and business opportunities.
Review ITTs, RFQs, RFPs, contracts, and tender documentation.
Coordinate technical, commercial, financial, and administrative inputs for bids.
Prepare and manage bid submissions, ensuring completeness and timely submission.
Develop commercial proposals, pricing schedules, and tender documentation.
Coordinate clarification meetings and respond to client queries.
Review contractual terms, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions.
Support contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and vendors.
Maintain a database of active, submitted, and prospective tenders.
Monitor contract performance, milestones, deliverables, and obligations.
Manage variations, extensions, claims, and other contractual matters.
Ensure compliance with applicable NUPRC, NCDMB, client, and company requirements.
Prepare tender, contract, and commercial reports for management.
Qualifications
B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Procurement, or related field.
5–7 years’ relevant experience in Contracts, Commercial, Bids/Tenders within the Oil & Gas industry.
Professional certification in Contract Management, Procurement, or related discipline is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas tendering and contracting processes.
Excellent commercial, analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
