Our Client is an oil and gas drilling services company providing onshore and offshore drilling, well construction, rig operations, and related support services to the energy industry. The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, stack, and position materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely in designated work areas.
• Load, unload, move, and stack materials and equipment.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections of forklifts.
• Ensure loads are properly balanced and secured before movement.
• Follow designated traffic routes and speed limits.
• Assist with receiving, dispatching, and positioning of materials.
• Report equipment defects, damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain forklift operating and inspection records.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Maintain good housekeeping around storage and loading areas.
• Comply with company HSE and material-handling procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or relevant technical qualification.
• Valid Forklift Operator certification/licence.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, marine, or oil & gas environment.
• Experience handling heavy or industrial materials is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of lifting and material-handling procedures.
• Valid offshore safety certification and medical fitness where applicable.
