Our client is a well-established laundry services business located in the city centre of Abuja, FCT.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Laundry Operations Manager to oversee the entire operations of their laundry business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high-quality standards, managing staff, and driving business growth.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the laundry business, including front desk, processing, and delivery 

  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality 

  • Supervise and manage staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation 

  • Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timelines 

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and garment care 

  • Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of supplies and equipment 

  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction 

  • Track sales, expenses, and overall business performance; prepare regular reports 

  • Implement strategies to increase revenue, customer retention, and operational efficiency 

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND/BSc in Business Administration, Management, or a related field 

  • 4–6 years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role (laundry, hospitality, or retail preferred) 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills 

  • Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities 

  • Good financial and business acumen 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools
