Our client is a well-established laundry services business located in the city centre of Abuja, FCT.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Laundry Operations Manager to oversee the entire operations of their laundry business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high-quality standards, managing staff, and driving business growth.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the laundry business, including front desk, processing, and delivery
Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
Supervise and manage staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timelines
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and garment care
Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of supplies and equipment
Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
Track sales, expenses, and overall business performance; prepare regular reports
Implement strategies to increase revenue, customer retention, and operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum of HND/BSc in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
4–6 years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role (laundry, hospitality, or retail preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities
Good financial and business acumen
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools
