Job Description

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support the planning, execution, and supervision of civil works—including borehole installations, site preparation, structural components, and environmental remediation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strong field presence and a safety-conscious approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise drilling, casing, concrete works, and site construction activities

• Review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress reporting

• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and project managers

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, geotechnical guidelines, and project timelines

• Prepare as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documentation

• Liaise with community stakeholders and regulatory inspectors as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (COREN-registered preferred)

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in construction, water infrastructure, or oil & gas support projects

• Familiarity with borehole drilling, soil mechanics, and structural detailing is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work in remote sites.

Salary Range: ₦300,000 – ₦400,000/month.

• Must reside in Port Harcourt or be willing to relocate immediately.

• Able to resume within two (2) weeks.
