Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support the effective management of their HR operations in Benin City. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR policies, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
Coordinate onboarding and induction of new employees
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Assist with performance management and employee engagement initiatives
Handle employee relations issues and provide HR advisory support
Support payroll processing and statutory compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies and Nigerian labour laws
Assist in organizing trainings, disciplinary processes, and HR reports
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2–4 years relevant HR experience
Sound knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour laws
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or in progress) is an added advantage
