Company Description
Our client is looking for a young, smart, dynamic, innovative, and focused Technical Assistant with little or no experience but with a strong passion to learn and grow. An individual with an elastic mindset, who speaks fluently, is ambitious, articulates, and has a stealth attitude.
Working as a Technical Assistant you will be required to perform basic administrative tasks including filing, composing emails, printing documents, scheduling meetings, answering phones, and creating reports. We expect you to provide basic assistance such as carrying out relevant or assigned research, preparing presentation slides/decks, and attending meetings where required.
Job Description
- Answering telephones and taking messages.
- Composing emails and ensuring follow-up communications on email
- Typing up reports for the company.
- Scheduling meetings.
- Examine market opportunities and identify new potential customers
- Provide recommendations on new products, services, and market trends to customers or stakeholders
- Participate in trade shows, training, and vendor product meetings to remain up to date on product knowledge, emerging trends, rebates, and product offering
- Printing and filing documents.
- Organising company and Executive's travel arrangements.
- Providing technical assistance where required
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager
Qualifications
- Proficiency with basic computer programmes including MS Office and database systems.
- Working knowledge of email systems, computer hardware, and peripherals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work without strict supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret technical data.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload with attention to detail
